Big fan of the Lunaracer 2. When Nike went back to the Lunaracer 1 I was not happy due to the restricted forefoot space. I heard that has improved with the Lunaracer 3 being released this month.
Anyone ran in this shoe yet? Verdict?

They only changed the upper, which I think was a good idea. They used their "engineered mesh" and dynamic flywire similar to shoes like the lunar glide 4.
I think it is a change for the better. The dynamic flywire is comfy and fits well. Combine that with a more breathable upper and you got a winnter.
That is not a review, that's advertising.
Anyway, I hope your description holds true. I really like the foam. Comfortable, yet fast ride.
If you liked past lunar racer's then you will be right at home with the new version. I absolutely love the new upper that they put on it. The new mesh and dynamic fly wire are very nice changes.
The ride is just like its always been. Comfortable, springy, and very lightweight.
Also, the fit hasnt really changed much. I got a half size up from what I usually get in Nike shoes and the fit is fine.
Bump.
Any other feedback regarding fit? I've had great success with the previous model (re-issue of LR1?), but I also have very narrow, low-volume feet.
just tried them on and love the fit. I have really narrow feet and they fit me very well. I plan to get a pair soon and will post more once I get a chance to run in them.
I've had a pair for a week now and have run in them twice. Despite being at less than 100% both days, they ended up being two of my best workouts. The Lunaracer 3 has quickly established itself as my all-time favorite shoe of any sort, and I'm seriously considering using it for all tempo work and long runs, where I currently use lightweight trainers.
(I wasn't fond of the fit of versions 1 or 2.)
I may try the LR3 alongside the Lunarspider R2 to see how they compare speed-wise. I'm guessing it will be much closer than originally anticipated.

Wore them during the Houston Marathon and Mercedes Half and like them a lot. The ride is unchanged, but the uppers are dramatically improved.
I have ran in mine several times now and the new upper is far superior to the old one. It's a much better fit. I'm wearing them for a 30K race this weekend and if that goes well I'll run in them at Boston too.

And no issues with regards to the fit and having narrow feet?
I just wrote up a review:

There's also this one from a few month ago:

In terms of fit, I don't know about LR1/2, but the new upper is very soft around the toe box. Maybe this helps?
No issues at all for me. I have very narrow feet.
