Confirms that Freddy Ovett is not an Australian junior cross country champion, as claimed on his Oregon bio. He is also not an Australian junior 800m champion either. Here is a list of all the Australian junior championships 800m medalists going back to the 60s.

Some years there is a separate race for schools xc. 1999 schools xc nationals was held in Darwin. So you have two different types of National Champs during the year

F. Ovett has not run 1.51.2 for 800m either.
