Every year, once a year, following a hard indoor interval session, I get hammered by flu/cold-like symptoms that lasts 1-3 days.
Usually the night of the workout I have a wretched time trying to sleep despite being exhausted from the workout. I get a runny nose and sneeze like crazy. The next couple days at work are unbearable and I typically have to excuse myself from meetings due to the sneezing.
I'm not really "sick" (virus-wise, I don't think), I just sneeze constantly. Anyone else get this? Any advice on kicking it? I generally try to avoid medication (but use it on occasion) and get as much sleep as possible. Ideas?
