I am going to guess either Oklahoma or Mississippi. Please post any state all-time records slower than 9:07.

Montana's Record is 9:12 or something like that

Zach Perrin ran 8:55 last year to break the previous record of 9:07.
Let's not guess here. If you have actual records (not guesses) post them.
Surprisingly, I watched an Alaskan kid run 8:49 4 years ago to win NON, so the state that is frozen for half the year does not have the slowest 2 mile record
Iowa only tracks state meet performances, as well as an "all-time best". The 3200m state meet record is 9:05.25, set in 2011, although the state also lists a converted two-mile time of 8:55.4 (converted from 8:58.8) set at the 1974 state meet.
The Iowa all-time best is a two-mile time of 8:52.0 set in 1975 (it's unclear whether this has been converted but I would guess not).
Oklahoma's is 9:08.7 from 1982 (again, the governing body only tracks state meet records). Can't find anything for Mississippi, but haven't looked that hard either.
I'd check Hawaii, Wyoming, Delaware, Arkansas, Iowa and the Dakotas.
If only I knew how.
Delaware is 9:00flat set by sam parsons
Hawaii State Meet Record appears to be 9:20.8 but this is different than the state record.
North Dakota state record appears to be 9:03.65.
Hawaii runs the 3k:
Meet Record: * 8:52.44 2011 Pierce Murphy, Island
Arkansas 9:09.8
Arkansas is 9:09.8 HT

So that converts to around 9:30? So, the 9:20 stands as Hawaii's best at their state meet.
NEVADA - record set in 1982 - 9:13.1
Wyoming 9:25.7
Iowa 8:52.0

That looks correct, good investigative work!
