I don't really see it as cheating. I'm getting in my hour run which was my main goal. And if it happens to be a little shorter or longer than 9 miles it doesn't effect what i accomplished, my goal of an hour run. If my MPW are off by a mile or two it doesn't make a big deal either, thinking I ran 85 miles when i really went 83 isn't that significant in my opinion. there are a lot of other aspects that are going to effect how i race more than a slight overestimation.
