Wilson Kipsang (first in London, 3rd at Olympics) is running Honolulu on Sunday.
Without thinking about it too much, I think Wilsonis the marathoner of the year in 2012. Anyone disagree? If so who do you think should be #1?
Secondly props to Honolulu for getting the #1 marathoner of the year. We on LRC should have given this more attention. Maybe it says a little something about the status of our sport that the #1 marathoner is running and there is almost no publicity about it.
How did he only get 3rd in the Olympics?
Because he threw in a surge at 10k and ran half the race solo at the front.
The other guys worked together and caught him slowly but surely.
Or maybe it's a reflection of you with your head up your ass.
