Hey guys. I've been training for a 5k road race (fairly competitive). I've done some time trials right around 15:40~ and felt pretty comfortable (I was a 14:30 guy in college). Anyway, I've come down with this nasty cold and my race is in 4 days. I've been drink hot tea, forcing fluids, EmergenC, and all kinds of stuff. Any ways to fight off a cold with such a short window? And any experience racing while sick? I actually did this in college once and set a PR, which made no sense to me at the time, but I think it happened cuz I went out conservatively. However, I feel a lot crappier now than I did for that race.
