Couple problems with comparing it to "The Stick".
It's wooden, what do you do when you get it wet, does the wood swell? This is a common issue with another knock off product, when their wooden core gets wet e product stops rolling effectively.
It's small and pricey...I'd recommend a runner spend a bit less and get The Travel model of The Stick...or if you like the individual wheels just spend even less for The Trigger Point Roller...another brand.
Have the designers possibly overlooked potential patent violations?
Do you plan on using it in the hot tub?
Only if you're gentle.
But being waterproof and use a hotub is a selling point with those guys selling The stick...
I've always used the Tiger Tail instead of the Stick. It gets a much deeper massage because it's more solid. The stick rolls more smoothly though.
This wooden thing looks like it might be a combination of the two. Interesting.
Although this is my go to technique for massageing my calves these days:

And foam roller for all other body parts.
The wooden rollers can get deeper between the muscles like fingers. I like it better than the stick.
I could use one of these after yesterdays long run.
A cheap knock off of a cheap knock off! At least the first knock off had a decent price tag.

I find this one best for getting into those tight areas
