I think she will but why should she be the favorite over Abbey D’Agostino
D’Agostino is a better 5k runner than Hasay. D’Agostino almost made the Olympic team, Hasay wasn't close.
Has Jordan raised her game this year? Or is she just a better cross runner than D’Agostino?
D'Agostino didn't run her conference meet which means she's not 100%.
After getting beat earlier in the year, Jordan has been winning everything.
Hasay > D'Agostino.

Jordan's conference win was rather amazing, time wise, and performance wise. Hollander has been amazing this year and many were considering her the top contender (although many obviously disagreed as well).
Why have so many written Hollander off but not Hasay? Hasay has lost far more races this season. I'd say that Hollander had an EQUAL chance of winning at the least.

You're right on everything except that Championships are tomorrow.
The only way Hollander wins is if she takes it HARD and no one else is able to catch her. They won't make that mistake again.
Hasay, D'Agostino and Saina are going to catch her in the last 2K or 1K. Hasay has a good cross country kick and looked awesome at Regionals. D'Ag is awesome but missed 5 weeks in the middle of the season...she's super tough though. Saina has that excellent 10K time, but I don't see her out kicking the other two over the last 100m...she'll need to pull away earlier. She could surprise me though.

Hasay did NOT win the conference meet. Kroeger and Hollander both beat her. She won regionals. What other meets did she win, that you're saying "everything?"

There are at least a 1/2 dozen other women with at least an equal chance of winning.
It's going to be very very very close. But, after watching Hasay last weekend? Wow. She will be very hard to beat folks.

Any of your half dozen could win , but only one knows that she will.
It will either be Hasay, Saina, or D'Agostino. A few others COULD win, but it is highly unlikely.
D'Agostino is rested and ready to Destroy the field. She missed the Olympics by .12 for heavens sake.
Most of us don't know that Jordan will win...but, we hope she does.
D’Agostino will win. Hasay will be second (I hope she wins).
