Might be a dumb question, I don't know. Fall Semester of college ends on December 17th, and doesn't start back up until Januarty 17th. My college is at 7,000 feet in elevation, and I'm training pretty hard mileage wise from now until then for some 10k's and halfs. My question is, since my home is at like maybe 1,000 feet in elevation if that, and I have planned on running in the pf changs rock n roll half marathon on january 9th or something like that, will I not have the advantage anymore of the altitude training as compared to if I came down 2 days before the race? Just wondering what if any effects 20 days away from altitude will have on my performance. Thanks.
