Yeah, you are right, Gulli sucks.

Well, I would have to say that this thread is pretty interesting.
Coach Hartman was a great distance coach. Getting rid of Hartman (regardless of who replaced him) was a bad move on Henry's part if he really cared about his distance program. Consistant 2-4 finishes at Big 12s is enough to prove that.
Since the release of Hartman, I don't believe the Aggies have broken 6th place yet (Big 12s); in fact, what was up with this year's Regional race? (5th??)
Also, if my calculations are right, there should be "Hartman Runners" still onboard as we speak. If that's the case, what's up with them? (McKinstry? Sherman? Duplechain?) Seems to me that they haven't really improved since Hartman left.
I've heard that Hartman and Waters are two totally different coaches that have two totally different training beliefs and methods, but what was so bad about Hartman that pushed Henry to let him go? And also, what was so good about Waters that made Henry choose him for the job?
That's something that I don't think anyone will ever know.
They also added two sub 1:50 guys from Queensland, Australia, they will run x-c next year and make em stronger
Perhaps it has something to do with having money tied up in cross country that will never finish better than 2nd or 3rd. But that money could be applied to TRACK & FIELD and the chance for winning conference and in years to come nationals would be higher. More often than not you win track championships in the field....not in the distances

Keep on thinking that

He will, and should. It's the same reason why Colorado has no Big 12 Track and Field championships.
Well it seems like Texas A&M is doing pretty good right now in Track. They are on the verge of being one of the best in the NCAA. I would say Hartman is doing well too. Wasn't he named Coach of the Year for the South Region in Cross Country and Track? UGA is rolling on the women's side.
I wonder why anyone would invest money in a distance program that is north of 5,000 of elevation. That makes absolutly no sense to me. And, ironically, why is it that most schools over 5,000 feet have horrible track teams? I just can't figure that one out... Maybe it's because people who live at high elevations just hate anything that's not a high endurance sport. If that's true, sprinters should sue for discrimination...
