Currently,I am making the transition from being a heel striker to a forefoot strike. I must say with optimisim that it feels great! I feel fast and agile while I am running.
But could somebody who has already made this transition tell me how long it was until they could run for about 30 minutes again. I have been running every other day for about 2 miles for about 1 week now. The tendonitis is bad.
I'm going to keep focused on accomplishing this because I realize the long term gains outweigh any short term losses in aerobic capacity. But could someone give me a time table for when I can expect to get my volume to at least what I would consider a training run.
