I've run 26:18 for five miles with a 3 mile split of around 15:21 (first 3 miles were pretty flat then a hilly fourth mile).
With a mile PR of 4:47 at the end of a 5x1 (2 minute rest) mile workout in September and a 16:22 5K PR from a very rainy/muddy 5k a few weeks ago, is it possible for me to go under 16 on flat indoor track?
My goal by outdoor is 15:30.

You almost broke 16 in the 5K on your way through the 8K. As long as you are healthy and feeling good you should be able to break 16 no problem. 26:18 for 5 miles is 5:15 pace anyway. Surely you can increase pace by 5 seconds on a rubbery track.

shouldn't be a problem. i have a friend who, as about a 26:00 xc guy, ran 15:09. you should be able to run 15:40 or so indoors no problem as long as you're healthy and fit.
I ran 1552 indoors last year, and wasn't nearly as fast as the other times you've listed.
You will EASILY break 16 if you don't go out too fast. Make sure your first lap isn't faster than 36, and don't break 37 for the next 8-10 laps. If you can go faster than that, you'll have a shot at 152x if you feel good. If you keep pace, you'll run 1540, and if you slow down a bit you'll still break 16.
I'm 98% sure you'll break 16...
15:21 for 3 miles. keep going at that pace for another ~170 meters and you're at 5k. that takes about 32 seconds at that pace. so you have already run 15:53...not sure what i'm missing.

I've run sub 16 a handful of times and that in no way describes what I can do in training. I'm sure you'll be fine.
Do you really want to run 25 times in a little circle? Distance on indoor tracks is horrible.
Why not just find a certified 5k with good weather?
I went 15:31 indoor last year after a piss poor xc season. 27:30 8k. So... I'd say 26:18 alone means you should realistically be shooting for something in the 15:30s indoor. Seeing as you split the 3 mile in what is essentially a sub 16, trying to break 16 indoor seems aiming a bit low. I know indoor's slow, but I'm pretty sure you could break 16 without exactly killing yourself.
If you stay healthy, I predict you will run a 15:35 indoor.

Oh and I just noticed that mile pr. Either you are trolling or you just haven't raced a mile in a few years. Just based off of your 8k you could probably (at least) go sub 4:40, if not a bit quicker. You get that time, the rest will follow.
I've never raced the mile or 1500 so all of my PRs are from workouts. I have suspicion that the 3 mile mark was short a little bit though. I'm more paranoid than anything about a mental barrier than anything else.
