Has anyone tried these ? I tried a pair on and they seemed pretty firm. They also seemed to slip a bit in the heel,but that may be due to the fact that I have pretty narrow feet.
How do you like them as a day to day trainer ? Any issues with durability ?

I've probably put 300 miles on mine and they are fine. I felt like they might slip in the heel when I bought them, but they never did once I ran. It was kind of a weird feeling, actually. I have gotten used to it. I commented about it on another thread about a month or so ago.
I am very happy with them so far. I would/will buy another pair.
Fit tends to run small so I had some problems with my toes going numb mid run. Very light, not much cushioning. Not sure how they will hold up over time, but my sense is that they will wear pretty quickly. Cool looks. Bought a pair to use as a casual shoe. Had a similar thoughts on heel slip, but in practice it has not been an issue. Overall I like them, however, I don't think they perform any differently than a number of other Nike shoes I have worn. The flyknit is more about looks than any practical difference in fit or performance.
I bought a pair of the trainer when they were released. I have worn them for runs of up to 15 miles and they performed well. I thought the upper felt stiff when I first tried them on but they really do mold to your foot. The zoom air cushioning is adequate. It's really easy to run quickly in these shoes.
I bought the Trainers and felt like they continually were slipping in the heal area and both gave me blisters not even 2 minutes into the run on the outside of my heal...had to actually stop and switch shoes. Sent them back because for that price for a shoe I don't want to have to break them in and deal with causing blisters. I don't understand why Nike can't just add a tiny bit more substance to the heal area to prevent that rubbing.
