I do tons of pullups ( 90 to 100)daily as part of my fitness workout and I was wondering if its of any benefit to running as I have developed a heavy upper body and this seems like alot of dead weight and wasted energy carrying all that mass in a long race ( i.e. half marathon and above).
If there isn't any proven benefit, I would just cut it out of my routine completely. Sidenote, I do them strictly on form with no kipping or assistance from the legs.
