How is that it's 15 Oct, and we don't yet know if the 2-time marathon WR holder is doing a marathon this fall (and if not, why?), or anything else?!

He got injured training for the Great North run and he has not announced anything about any future races. If he can get in a healthy build up it would be nice to see him run a good time in Dubai.
Again, traveling around the world to murder starving people in their mud huts is not being a real man.

That's true. The best way to prove you are a real man is to come on here and talk about how big your balls are, how manly you are, your evident Alphainess, and how women were made to serve men and really enjoy serving you. Then you are a real man, no?
He will do Fukuoka.
Isn't he under house arrest or something? Thought he wasn't so popular with the politicians in Ethiopia.
They just announced the Fukuoka field. Haile is in, up against Martin Mathathi in his marathon debut.

Here is the link:
http://japanrunningnews.blogspot.com/I agree, Mathathi looks like the only real competitor. Who skips the Olympics in order to focus on their Marathon debut? Probably smart idea by Haile to focus on prestigious not so fast Marathons than on Mickey Mouse races that are pretty much impossible to win for him anymore, like Berlin, Chiacago or Rotterdam.

The only thing Haile injures is other people's pride.
I am surprised that the Fukuoka field does not include at least one or two of the New York a-listers. Any news on what their plans are - Dubai?

This is the entry list as originally planned. Additions from the NYC field are not on it yet.

Wilson Kipsang and Bouramdane will run HNL.
Haile is an a-hole. He's been traveling around the world to participate in small local races for tons of money. Last summer he came to a small town in the country where I spent my holidays. What happens? The little scvmbag gets loads of cash, runs half a mile of the 10k and then quits because otherwise he would be too late for his return flight.
Haile is a low-life.

CR in Fukuoka is 2:05:18. Not so not so fast. Mathathi is looking to run 2:05 in a worst-case scenario. He has trained for a 2:04. If the Fukuoka people give him the pacing support for that it should be pretty interesting to see what Haile does.

I call troll.
But I could be wrong ... you might just hate Haile for some reason and are trying to make stuff up.
But you did a really piss poor job of making stuff up. So he started a race in a "country where I spent my holidays"? Why not just name the country? Did you promise the country you wouldn't use its name?
You fail.

Uh, have you considered the possibility that it should scan as "a small town in the country / where I spent my holidays" rather than "a small town / in the country where I spent my holidays?" No? Careful on calling a fail, then.

Fujiwara beat Haile in February. Could happen again.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
