I did 10x800 with 1:30 rest, averaging 2:32-2:33 for each one. What do you think I can run 5k in?

1730
I'd say 16:32ish
15:40
Perhaps I should have given more background information. I'm a sophomore and I've run 16:19 on my own this year (in a meet). I have a meet tomorrow on a course that I ran 16:29 on almost exactly a month ago. I will be running against the fourth place finisher from last year's state meet- I will definitely have competition.
Depends upon how much effort it was for you.
If it was all out i would say 17:30.
If it was just a hard workout 17:00
if you are doing this normally i would say 16:30.

I can never tell if people give troll responses or are just plain dumb.
First he has given PRs indicating much faster than this.
Second, 1:30 is decent rest, but not ridiculous. It's much less than 1:1 which would be a classic 3k pace rest/recovery ratio. The volume of the workout is reasonably large as well. Worst case scenario is that if this workout was all out as can be this might be a little slower than 3k/3200 pace, which would mean about 10:10-10:20 over 2M, or about 16:30-16:45 for a 5k.
Given the volume, and shorter recovery time than 1:1 I'm inclined to say 16:00-16:15, though obviously the OP should provide more information such as effort of the workout, tempo paces/distances, etc as several of these could dramatically effect the predication (i.e. all out v relaxed effort)
16flat, given similar efforts, terrain, etc.
16:15-30 if the 800s were on a track.
It's a good predictor of your 10 x 800m ability.
16:30
15:59-16:01
Why kill yourself running 10 x 800 when 3 x 1600 will accomplish the same thing?
10 x 800 in 2:32-33 is a 15:40 or faster level workout.
3 x 1600 in 5:02 (4 min recovery) is the same level.
But workouts don't predict race performance unless you do a series of them at the same level.
