What type of scholarship money would a 1:52 800 and a 4:14 1600 with descent grades get you to a sec school?

books to $2000
books.
Books. One team in the sec has 6 guys under 1:50. And some of them are only on books.

I can see why you're going to the SEC.

Yeah a lot of guys that go to SEC schools had good grades as HS freshman that got progressively worse over their four years.
Come to Columbus State University. You'll most likely get a full scholarship.
Depends what your 400 is or your 5k.
800 and 1600 are both still middle distance so you need an out of your comfort zone event to show your range.
A 1:52 guy with a 48 second 400 is going to get a lot more money than a 1:52 guy with a 53 second 400, because the coach will look at him and think he will be easier to make into the 1:47-1:48 guy.
And if you have a 5k of 15:45 or better with not much work at it, a coach may see you as a better 1500 guy that just needs to learn to race the race, or possibly a 3000-5000 guy.

A 1:52 guy with a 53 in the 4? Shit, any coach would be crazy not to take him. At that rate, his mile would be a 3:58!
He's not getting into the SEC.
