I have had three races in a row that have been terrible. I feel drained and unable to keep up with people I used to beat easily...and this after I cut back my mileage from 75 to 55 I seriously think I am Iron defficient. I am lagging badly in workouts and races.
**My first question: how long does iron defficiency take to develop? The weird thing is...one month ago I was feeling fantastic! I ran a faster time in my team pre meet on a hillier course than today's flat course with fast competition!!! It was even close either, my time last month at a meaningless premeet was 30 seconds faster than today! Something has to be wrong
I want to get a test. So far I have heard I should analyze my Ferretin, Hemoglobin, Hetocrite, and Microcytic cells Is there anything else I should get tested???
**and what are the normal levels for males my age? 18 years old,5 foot 9, 110 Pounds.
