Someone clue me in. I can understand THG use in sprinters. But exactly how does THG help distance runners?

it makes you run faster.
if you can understand why testosterone makes men distance runners faster than women you can understan why thg does the same.

How on earth do you or anyone know anything about the effect of THG.It is related to a compound that is not anabolic and may even be catabolic.
We all have not got a resonable clue.

Then why haven't all the THG people been speeding up instead of slowing down?
ability to train harder, faster recovery.

Did you mean to say the opposite there?

In a way, yes, I did mean to say the opposite. I'm talking about Montgomery, Jones, etc... If they were taking THG and are now off it, shouldn't they actually be improving if THG is catabolic?
Ah, gotcha
>>Then why haven't all the THG people been speeding up instead of slowing down?
Mostly they did worse in 2003.
Placebo effect.
Variety of other drugs.
In short far too many variables to make a sensible non assumptive guess.
>>shouldn't they actually be improving if THG is catabolic?
Again too many variables.
My point is that we know fxxk all about the properties of THG.
Note the FDA have not banned it as anabolic.

Ahhh the apologist for drug cheats speaks again.
THG is a synthetic anabolic steroid, closely and structurally related to two other synthetic anabolic steroids, gestrinone and trenbolone. Now I wouldn't dream of asking you to take my word for the anabolic properties, so by all means, read away

I have looked at the refs you provide .All are non original and repeat the usada/assumptive line .Catlin himself says he has no evidence of anabolic properties.Only that it is related to Gesrtrinone.
Now if you look at a proper medical/pharmacological ref like Martindales you will note not one anabolic property for Gestrinone. It is for a female womb problem.
Now produce some original refs and NOT journalese.
Man, you guys really get into this stuff. This forum is just loaded with geneticists, biologists, physiologists, etc. Scientists could do their research on this message board alone.
Why don't you provide some references to your claims? That might convince us. Links to articles backing you up, ect...
>>Man, you guys really get into this stuff.
Yep;sad is it not.
Have alook at my post about "sisport" which is still on the front page.My point is not about science but rather the way shit science is pulling the wool over our eyes.If you look as sisport you will see the stupid postion the drug testing scientists are pushing our sport. For their own benfit.Look how clever we are..now ..give us more money.
>>Why don't you provide some references to your claims?
I see your point but it is impossible to provide refs for research that does not exist.
On posts about a month ago about THG and Jacobs "Phil" and "Max Jones" provided some first rate info on Gestrinone.
An extention of this was that the morning after pill is as related to Gestrinone as is THG.
Fair enough, I just didn't understand how you could demand better evidence from a person you were debating with when you had no evidence on hand either...
thinittru keeps focusing on gestrinone and skips the trenbolone part. Trenbolone is an anabolic steroid mainly used to put more meat on cattle. That sounds kind of anabolic to me. Also, the FDA has made no finding on THG because it is an illegally synthesized drug that was never submitted to the FDA or any other legitimate organization for testing.
>>thinittru keeps focusing on gestrinone and skips the trenbolone part.
I see your point but feel that trenbolone seems to be a vey minor part of the discussions. It was never mentioned in Calins evidence to the Chambers hearing. The T in THG stands for tri and not trenbolone. However I would appreciate futher clarification of the Trenbolone part. However just because it is part trenbolone goes not mean that it will attach itself to the receptor site.
