From his twitter "I've heard rumor that the 1500 pace is going to come through in 2:48 (1200) I couldn't be more excited!"
What do you think he will run?

What do you think he will run?
3:37
3:33 high or 3:34 if the pacing is good.
That is 3:27 pace?
No more like 3;30
Makhloufi will smoke him.

really wish it was Robby Andrews instead of him at the olympics
Wheating won't go through 1200 that fast. He'll go straight to the back and look to get pulled along while hoping that everyone else runs with same b@lls.
When Centrowitz went low a few weeks ago, 1200 leader was 2:50.x iirc.
248 would be fast.
Andrews and Wheating both rely on a kick that wont help them in a real race.
Calling Driouch for the upset
Wheating 3:33.98
Agree. He will be in dead last, but run down some guys really trying to compete. He barely made the Olympic team and ran just awful, but in these types of races, you can finish 10th, achieve the A standard and all the rest of the Americans will be shut out again from making the World Championship team.
Who has A standard for next year?
Centro, Fernandez, Leo, and soon to be Wheating I believe.
At first I thought the pacing would be awful as per usual, with the rabbits going out in 54 and then end up doing 59-60 for the next 2 laps... but then I saw the startlists and saw Scherer listed as pacemaker. Perhaps we might see good things.

Actually it is called "typing in a reclined position."
I went to two other schools after Oregon, both more highly rated.
Just lazy at proofing on a shite, I mean chat board.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
