Obviously we all blame ourselves for racing poorly, it's just the need to make excuses on an anonymous message board that's ridiculous. Nobody is going to look up your times and figure out who you are and why you didn't run 5 seconds faster than your PR.

I underwent a lot of physical progression aka growth, but it's amazing what mental opens up. With my senior year mindset as a freshman, who is to say, right?
But that's not how it goes. Racing is fun.
