I'll start. 32. 17 in the AM. 11 late afternoon. 4 before dark because I was bored. Averaged 645 pace. Ran 30 miles the day before (17/13).

About 190.
I ran 200 in 22 hours. I slept for 2 hours, then I woke up and hit a cool 60.
50 miles during an ultra.
Coach Bigfoot you are lying, Kouros on the other hand is telling the truth. Look up the World Record for 24hrs.
Probably 24 or 25, during the course of a marathon.
Unless you count my walking, which a racewalking judge would probably say wasn't *real* walking and (therefore must be running). In that case, something over 35. Took a damned long time, too.
probably slightly under 26. I finished a marathon, but was reduce to walking for a few stretches between miles 19 and 23 due to calf cramping.
26.2
on a fri used to do
15 mile @ 6:30 pace
5 mile @ lunch @ 6 min pace
11 mile @ sub 6min pace
this was in the early 80s also on a sun i used to run 33 mile around 6:30 pace
alf are you serious? Wow! What was your marathon PR?
Probably somewhere between 26.5 and 27 miles. Did a short warmup before running my marathon PR.
well i did say early 80s and we all trained like that my marathon pb 2:11 i think i broke 2:15 around 12 times
That is great, with big days your mileage must have been quite high. What did you usually hit per week? 150?
yea used to run 140 upto 160 only once did i run 182 but juat did not enjoy that i took this kind of mileage up because i wanted to be a marathon runner. alf tupper was my hero from my comic in the early 70splus it had good war stories just like my dad and uncles talked about all with a big grin happy days
looks like you know it all you will also know that alf tupper was ron hills hero you know ron hill that won boston because your not british you will not understand the meanining of it
22-23 a few weeks ago.

9/10. Pretending you are a fictional character, and getting these people to go for it. One of the best trolls ive seen recently. Bravo.
thanks for 9/10 but i am gutted that you doubt me running that high mileage but so be it but the thing i do remember more than anything was the pain in my legs on a night which was the soreness of the mileage which was done all on roads i only posted on this link because i was a big mileage runner
