Yes - it is the XC 4. I'm not aware of any changes to the uppper....
It is the update from the Streak XC3, not much has changed in the shoe. A size 9 shoe weighs 5.3 oz, which is fairly light, considering the amount of cushion in the shoe. I didn't try on the XC3 so not sure how it compares, but it is comfortable and fits the foot well. It also has a gel pad on the tounge of the shoe to keep pressure from the laces off the foot. And breathes very well. I would consider racing in this flat but I am a fan of Adidas' Hagio.
Yep, streak xc 4. Great shoe except for the seam that sews the tongue to the upper. Blister time.
Yep. You'll need socks with this one. Tore up the top of my feet and nearly ripped a toe nail off. Soaked in blood after my first workout in them. I have about 120 miles in this shoe and they are starting to lose a little responsiveness...but otherwise a pretty good shoe.
