Check it out, some women (and a man) are going to run as hard as they can for at least 50% of the distance!

They are off! BBC announcers not expecting this to be run as fast as the men did.
As long as the man doesn't win... I'm rooting for the chicks.
USA takes the lead. 55-56 at one lap.
Kenyans moving past USA
can't find the feed! crossing my fingers for a girl winning this co-ed race.
Russian taking over. She wins easy. The Man finished second. Russian third as well.

Congrats.
Horrible race.
Cheater russian won...
That was disgusting.
Savinova the cheater won easily.
Jelimo GAVE UP and basically just gave away her bronze. No honour.
Castor finished faster than anyone but waited way too long to move.
USA runner finished first among runners sporting a flower in their hair.
Oh my god....Savinova is so doped...
Silver Semenya
lolol at "here comes Semenya lumbering up the track"!
At least the dude didn't win.
here comes semenya LUMBERING to the silver - haha! nice from the announcer
Jelimo fourth
Montano from USA fifth
another Russian sixth
Was Semenya doing her Nick Symmonds impression? Hung at the back too long. Looks like she's been lifting a lot - her pecs showed some definition.
so can we now have an honest debate about co-ed races. Typically anyone who knocks off 4 secs in an 800 in a a season would be doping. In this case, is s/he not taking the required hormones? If other medalists go for drug desting does s/he go for horomone level testing? This is a shame to the sport.
How f'ing hard is it to run through the line...After today I may just stick to watching local college or high school meets.
