Were British running at altitude, or was the 1500 tactical because the times weren't that quick. Anyone know?

yeah man, it was run at the top of my mountain. A wee bit slow.
Pretty much all races in GB are at sea level or very close, there really aren't any places to run at altitude here.
highest peak in all of great britain, is ben nevis, at 4400 feet, relatively low.
this altitude would only slow say a 345 1500 to a 348-9 at worst

perhaps the final of the 1500 will be a bit quicker????
Got to say the British AAA 1500m this year is just shameful, the heats were won in times that would not even qualify for European Junior level. 58 second last lap to run 3.45...not special at all. Poor standard due to lack of entrants i.e. East running 800(wow such good 800..146 front ran), Mayock and Graffin moved to 5KM, Whiteman out of shape,Mayo injured. Oh and if James Thie does any funny waves in the home straight like the heat then sonmeone please shoot the cunt.
Please shoot the cunt? You're the cunt mate.
No waving there at all was there Mr Thie!!!!
How poor were the races, tony choked, James must have had a tired arm from waving yesterday and Mulvaney ran a 58 as everyone was tired froma 55 3rd lap panic. A win in 3.50.The worst UK trials 1500m ever.
Judging by the times it was held at about 20,000 feet
what waving?? did you watch the heats- i didn't wave? look mate im sat really pissed with how the final went- i f**ked up in a big way- but someone like you chating shit- if you raced and trained half as much as me then you might get somewhere yourself insted of slagging me off.
i think the thing that stands out is that its a shame more people don't have a go- meaning in the heats- take the second where 8 of them could have gone through if they went 3:45- but no one had the balls to have a go. two years ago when in my heat i had whiteman and east (first two to go through) i thought i would have a go at making the pace- i just missed out - but learnt more in that one race than just going around and kicking. you might say then why did i not take it out today but i was 100% racing and that ment watching and being ready for any pace. but as it happened we had no takers! well im not someone who gives up when it goes wrong and as for someone calling me a cunt- well next time put you name and i will talk with you anytime about how you try and make it with almost zero help or backing-
james thie
It wasn't a 58 last lap, it was a either a 54 or 55 with a 1.49 last 800m. I timed it, so I can guarentee it.
