No idea who will drop it, but if anyone other than Jeter does, I think Jeter will whup her a** right there on the track. Jeter want gold. Want gold bad.

She is one lady I would not want carrying the fortunes of a USA team in her hand. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Two things are guaranteed in major athletic competitions:

1. Asafa Powell will choke in the final.

2. One of the USA 4x100m relays will drop the baton.

If a drop happens then so be it.. shit happens.. it's not so uncommon in a 4x100. Let's try to be positive. Go USA! World record????

Tarmoh will drop it in the semi-finals and then blame it on Felix somehow. she'll throw out her famous quote "it's not fair! I was robbed!"

My 100meter pb is 12.8 but I am 10x smarter than all the sprint coaches in the world combined.

Put your four fastest, smartest, least dropiest sprinters and stick with that four. None of this switching around between heats etc. It's 100 frikin' meters. If you can't handle heat/final you shouldn't be running at all.

Think of all the bone ups in the relay over the past few years. Insane.

On that subject, consider how David Rudisha lost his shot at a medal in the 4X400 today. You cannot predict ANY relay.

I'm guessing they drop a bomb on the Jamaicans and break the world record.

Congrats to the team - I would much rather them get a world record than get this prediction right. Good to see that they got the baton around the track finally - they looked good out there!

Excellent passing in both the semi and the final. Though I busted on Tarmoh, she did a good job on the passing in the semi. The final was insanely fast with incredible passes. Good on them. Drummond should be proud.
