Huge tension at #200m presser when Carmelita Jeter answering Q about Mark Block. "I have just won medal and that's all you can ask!?"

ha. haha. hahahahahahahahahaha!
Suck it Cheter. Answer the question.
So getting a medal puts you above suspicion? That doesn't seem quite right Jeter. More people should be asking these questions BECAUSE she won a medal.
Its not an interview question relevant to what she has accomplished, the fact that sponsored athletes are required to talk to the press at all is a joke that only an American viewpoint takes.
You don't see this with any other athletes, Brazilians, any type of Asian, Russians, they just pretend they don't know English and skip these stupid press conferences.
If I won a medal at the Olympics the last thing I'm going to be doing is acknowledging the media.
Why would she should she answer a question about Mark Block? In fact she should just give the simple answer "He is very supportive"
She's not at a Nike sponsor press conference.
uhhh, cuz he's supposed to be serving a doping ban...

Other than her acne, expanding jaw, masculine bone structure, freakish muscularity and improving performances at an age where one would normally slow down, why on earth would anyone be suspicious of her???
Is there anything else coming from Twitter, or any live feeds of this press conference?
Wow I hope there's a video of this.
You won a medal and that is why the question came up. The PEDs are affecting her reasoning

How long until both Johnsons are not invited to and banned from all track and field press conferences?

Why would they be banned? Because they actually know what questions to ask? The rest of the press are so clueless about track and field, none of these questions would ever be asked or answered, and consequently we'd have a dozen Marion Jones.
I think the organizers and other press appreciate that the Johnson brothers are there.

Do you want journalists to be like the White House Press Corps has become since Obama took office?

I hope you realize that would be pronounced like "cheddar".

The IOC doesn't allow any video recordings of the press conferences - maybe the tv rights holders can tape it but we can't.

Weldon asked the question this time (i did it last time).
All I know is a brief interaction I had with him on gchat. Apparently she responded, "I'm going to count to ten" and then answered it.
Your thougth that we'd be banned is ridiculous. Two different journalists went up to Weldon and said the way he handled the question was very professional and well done.
If the governing bodies were smart, they'd be sending us bonus checks as the doping suspicions are horrible for the sport. They really should want people getting to the bottom of this.
Long term thinking , not short term is key.

Part of the 10k press conference was recorded.
What they did/said to Merga at Worlds would be more likely to get them in trouble (which it didn't). Asking a question is not the same.
Jeter: "I have just won a medal and that's all you can ask!?"
Oops, sorry, Pharmacita. Journalists should only ask questions like "How happy are you to have won a medal?" and "What were you thinking during the race?"
What an idiot.

Good luck with your sponsorship portfolio, moron!
