This guy has a 1:48 PR. He ran 3:38 in 2010 and 3:39 in 2011 and he is only 21.
He was the slowest qualifier our of round 1 at the European championships then went on to win in the 1500.
5th place at the Olympics, beat all of the Kenyans and looked pretty darn goofy while doing it.

Met Henrik in '07, we were both competing at an event in Gothenburg. He was staying in the same hotel as my club and was racing one of our guys. Very nice guy, played table tennis/pool with us fairly often, has a younger brother who i competed against who was also a decent 1500m runner. Even at that age he seemed very dedicated, much more dedicated than any other athlete i've competed against. Hope to see him run very well in the future.

That guy looks awesome. Give him some gold chains, a Camaro, and a big-haired cheerleader girlfriend and he could be the antagonist in any teenager movie from the 80s. The Oakleys stay, of course.

he is going to in Rieti (the short track there will give him a PB as everyone else in the race). He makes big headlines in
our newspapers. Last year his season was cut short due to a stress fracture.
Henrik did a 3.31.46 race this summer in Monaco. Lowered his PB this summer with 3 seconds or something.
