wariner schmariner, that's what i say. lots of talk in the past about him the 8, but kirani could run a world class time right about now. tons of energy left at the end of that 400. that's my story.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...we have heard this before. Look how easy he ran the 400 in 44 seconds. It would be no problem for him to run a 50 (which would be like jogging). And then just jog another 50 second lap for a walk in the park 1:40...watch out Rudisha! Blah Blah Blah......learn the sport andstop embarrassing yourself!!!
No, he's too muscular and bulky, and doesn't train 100 miles weekly!
Why!??? He's Oly champ at 400m. Why the 800m? Because your a distance geek and that's all that gets you hard?

Kirani James is a 200/400 guy. He would suck hard in the 800. I'd be impressed if he could break 1:52
What about Tony McQuay? He is thin, very much the build of an 800m runner, just lacking the training. I said the same for Wariner.
His countryman Rondell Bartholomew (44.65 400pr, injured this year) ran 1:51.1 last year and beat Arkansas signee and JUCU champ Kemoy Campbell of South Plains head to head. Borlees ran 1:15-1:16ish for 600m last year...
Yeah, I think James is more of a 2/4 guy.
I think that many may be right when they suggest Wariner is a 4/8 guy in disguise. I think he should move up to the 8 after this year or at least take a look at it. McQuay in the 8.. also interesting. I can see him doing well there too.
