Come on like, could it be any more obvious! Nothing for the last 2 years and then comes out and drops that bomb and hardly breathing heavy. Something not right there

Two years? She was ranked number one in the world at 5000m and 10000m in 2010. She was injured last year. She can probably run 29:30 or better so running 31 minute pace and kicking the last 400m isn't going to do much to her.
She won pre this year... she is also the defending Olympic champ, has been running well since 2003. Yes she had one bad year so that makes her a doper NOW?

Yea exactly, 2 years ago! She comes back and makes the field look like shmucks. Expecting bekele or one of the others ethiopians to be back to their 'best' in the mens 10km
Here's the math:
This year: 2012 - running back at her best
One year ago: 2011 - Dibaba injured, went to Prefontaine Classic, couldn't start
Two years ago: 2010 - undefeated, ranked number one in the world
To be correct you would have needed to state that she either, "did nothing last year" or "hasn't been at the top since two years ago", but to say that she hasn't done anything in two years is to say she was absent last year and the year before.
Besides, she's been running really well this year. What do you expect someone who can run the kind of 5000m she did in New York to run for 10000m in conditions like they had tonight?
Give me a break. Even if she had been healthy and trained perfectly the last two years. That finish just was not right. If you're doping, at least have the courtesy to LOOK tired. I have NO doubt she's on something.
Take your current 10K fitness, add a minute, and see how fast you can close.

How tired should you be after running 9500m at half marathon pace and then running a hard final 500m? That sounds like a workout, which is exactly what it was.
How tired was Coe after running his seventh race in nine days?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddrxCe3ZOOM&t=3m40sColeman even says it! He was able to to immediately dash over towards the press box and yell at the journalists who had written him off that year, even after running within two seconds of his lifetime best! The other thing you need to understand is that these people aren't like you or me. They're in such amazing shape and so talented that you can't compare their recovery to yours or mine.
But really, 9.5km at half marathon pace and finish strong. Not that hard.
Sorry, haven't seen anything that obvious since Ben Johnson.
tacomafan,
Are you Bob Sheffer?

LOL - No. Just someone who watches track meets.

Why should she look tired if she wasn't? You mean to tell me that you couldn't run 8 seconds slower than your personal best 400m after jogging for 30 min? How do you you not understand that?

Then what is off with the math? If you're a 70 minute half marathon runner, who hard would it be to run 33:10 pace for 9.5km and then run a hard 500m? You wouldn't be spent at all.
I don't understand the concept of you should look tired after a race argument for distance running.
Anything 800 and under would make sense but for a 1500,5000,10,000 you're drawing more aerobic than Anaerobic, otherwise runners in the marathon would look dead tired after 15k in.
??
Were you watching another race? They were at 31:30 pace before Sally started pressing.
Interesting that a 62 400 is now considered aerobic.

Yup.
Watching her run is like watching Ramzi run. Except Ramzi was at least somewhat entertaining.

lol are you trolling? A 62 400m IS aerobic for someone who can hold 62 400m pace for over a mile.
You guys have no clue how far ahead the doping game actually is with lab rats being bought off with new drugs that haven't hit the market, much less being tested for by the authorities. I'd like to remain a dreamer idealist, but a 62 closer lap, gimme a break...

Yes, which is 66:28 pace for half marathon, which is probably 40-60sec slower than she is capable of.
So running slower than half marathon pace for most of a 10km and then picking it up for the final km isn't going to really take it out of you, is it?
Wow - Dibaba has run 4:08? If that's correct, I think that proves my point.

I don't think you have much clue, if you think that 62 seconds is top notch compared to some of the closing laps that have been run.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
