I am pretty new to running (2nd year of XC, 3rd year of track). im going into my senior year of highschool. last years PR's are a 19:20 3 mile and a 5:18 1 mile with barely any training at all. for the 19:20 i doubt i ever even reached over 15 mpw on a good week. i recently became inspired to be a runner and would like to know how possible it is to break a 17 min 3 mile, and what kind of training i would need to be doing to do so my senior year.
