Gregson Dusts O'Lionaird in Cork City Mile

Good to see him break off the long non racing period with a 3.58. Hope he gets to run in the games. If you've ever met the kid or dealt with him, you'd hope earnestly for his success too.

"Once I settled in and got through the second lap, I relaxed, kept moving up and I thought I was going to win with 200m to go. I was ready to pull the trigger and I pulled and there was nothing there. I think that’s because it was my first day out.

"Honestly, if I can put myself in a position like that in the Olympics and I can work on that last gear and be able to pull the trigger, I think we are back to where we were last year."

quite a good result for o'lionaird his first time out after injuries. he has some talent.

I wouldn't call beating someone who has been training for only two-months, by one second, dusting them. Clearly you have some sort of affinity to demean Ciaran's achievement with this post. This is an Olympic year, so I'd be apt to keep quiet until you see where he finishes at the games. Moron...
