Hey Irish People -Any chance that the reason Catriona Cuddihy was put on 4 x 400 team simply because she's good looking?

I've been trying to follow this story where you guys put a less qualified runner on the 4 x 400 over a clearly better runner.

It seems like a lot of people are wondering - why did Cuddihy get put on the team in the 1st place?

Then I saw the pic:

Any change it's that simple? They wanted some sex appeal on a tam that's not too good to begin with.

I'd say, yes. Good point. You don't want to represent your country with a bunch of nags that are going to lose anyway. Might as well toss in a cute one.
