What are some of the best training books you've read?

I'm going to get The Lore of Running and I want to get one other book.
Daniels Running Formula
Run by matt Fitzgerald
I would highly recommend the following books:
Jack Daniels running formula- its great to show all of the phisiology behind what you're doing. the sience is great, but the workouts leave something to be lacking
Get faster from the 5k to the marathon- this was by brad hudson and matt fitzgerald. its argably the best book to clearly and logically bridge the gap between phisiology and workouts. its simple and straight forward and i refer back to it a lot. It also does a great job of teaching how to create a plan and learn how to analyze it.
Better training for distance runners- this one is by peter Coe. its very unique and gives a ton of insight on middle distance running. it will get you to think outside the box and give some amazing workouts. it is VERY specific to middle distance though so be aware of that going in.
I do also own "the lore of running" and i would leave that alone. its got some good science on a few pages, but it has very few good points in its excessive amounts of pages.
Keep persueing the knowledge of this great sport, i hope this helps you.

+1
The best introduction to distance training
I would say Daniels as an intermediate step and then BTFDR (Coe), Lore of Running is more of a consultation and general knowledge book
Undoubtedly, a great summary of the sensible application of Lydiard principles, with other great stuff about weight training and nutrition etc, is 'Healthy Intelligent Training' by Keith Livingstone.
