That was pretty good.
I like Nick Symmond's approach to the sport.
He is an interesting character, a fierce competitor and nice guy if you have ever gotten a chance to talk to him.
He is very approachable.
I think he will do well after he is done as a competitor in the sport.
We can get a video of that but Hazma Driouch's 1500m with a mid-race 52.7 is unable to be found??????????????
Very articulate , well said in what he is trying to do for himself and other athletes. Other elites should start to ask for the same and step up to the plate and work as group.

Yes.
The male host said the Olympic village is a party with 10,000 fit young people and the hot chick host said "I know where I'm going."
Did she really just quote Jay-Z on CNBC?

Yes, he represented himself and his opinion very well. Good for him.
Definitely seems like he's too much of a liability to be on that show

He's making it sound like going to the Olympics is damaging to his business opportunities. If going to the Olympics does not pay off in future sponsorships, then why doesn't Nick Symmonds just not go to the Olympics?

He's sort of saying that the people who have been supporting him for the past 4 years basically get the shaft when he is in the big show. Future sponsorship is weak if you can't display it or talk about it. For a major sport this is not a big problem(Basketball and Hockey players have million dollar contracts), but for a lot of Olympic sports it is, not just T&F.
He's trying to get athletes a stronger opportunity to make a living from the sport. If you agree or disagree with his agenda that's your decision. A good argument against it would be the amateur tradition of the Olympic games. I wonder what % of Olympians aren't professionals currently don't make a living from their sport.

You might have missed the interview where he said that love of competition is #1 for him and making money in the sport is #2.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
