What do you think he'll run?
I say 1:46.3

I give him 1:45. That field is decent, but not quite strong enough in the back to guarantee any faster. With Kaki in the front the pack should at least beat 1:45 for the most part, so Centro could well approach that number himself.
1:44.8
1:45.2
1:46.4, and that will be perfectly fine.
1:47.2

I hope you are joking.

it's a good prediction...
1:47.6
Matt Scherer is pacing.....1:44.5
1:46
Centro can close a 1500m in 51.5, so he should be able to run 1:43 ultimately. If this is his first Euro race this season, he might be fighting jet lag. I think he can run 1:44.9.
Absolutely no way he touches sub 1:45
Does anyone think before they make predictions or do they just pick a number that sounds nice?
We all (should) know he doesn't have the 800 speed of wheating, or manzano for that matter.

And how should we all know this for his current fitness level?
This race should be to shake out the legs and adjust to racing in Europe before getting into any of the serious 1500m races.
I can't imagine him running 1:44 right now. I can see 1:45 as possible, and predicting 1:46.3

It sounds like he had very little speed work going into the trials, so hard to imagine he's ready to really blast 800, especially because he's not an 800-1500 guy so much as a 1500-3000-5000 (eventually) guy IMHO.
1:46.5 would be fast for him right now and a good sign going into the olympics.

I agree with you, totally. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1:47 as a solid sign for the games even.
1:46 low
He needs to run at least sub 1:44 to have any chance at all. Alan Webb ran 1:43 and finished 7th in the world.
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
