Funny how last year it was everyone else's fault. This year it was everyone else's fault. I wonder if he will notice a common theme in his bad races is him, not everyone else. Very disappointing to see good runners this clueless as to their own responsibilities in big races.

Both Leer and AJ made excuses last year. But it was Leer crying about Lagat and others not pushing the pace more FOR HIM. AJ whined more about getting bumped around, and maybe the pace too.

But Leer definitely called out Lagat last year, and then apologized because he realized how dumb it sounded. Looks like he is at it again this year.

Will Leer, Torrence, and Ulrey all can be sub 13 5k guys.

They'd be doing a great service to american distance running if they were to move up.

All he said was that the pace didn't go again after the person who claimed that they were going to take it took it. That's not a complaint; that's an observation. Nobody "drove from 700 out" and it came down to a late kick.

Thanks to Jordan and Will taking it out hard, this was the fastest Trials 1500 final in quite some time...
