What do you think for this coming fall? Personally, I don't think the Princeton men will be badly affected by their (very significant!) graduation losses, because of their striking depth--more a question of reload than rebuild. I'd think they're the presumptive favorites.
But you all generally have a much better idea (than I do) about whom the teams have returning. (On the men's side, at least, I never look for frosh to help--it's nice when they do, but even the highly-touted recruits rarely seem to contribute significantly in their first year.) Who comes back for Columbia, for instance? What team is likely to improve significantly (and why)?
On the women's side: can the Big Red repeat, even if they don't get an "Ithaca" day to run in? They return their front four from last year's winning squad--and word is that they've gotten one or two rookies who could help (though even on the women's side, I think frosh are iffy).
Or maybe they don't have to look at frosh anyway: if Karys (Heps 10,000m champ in 2011) returns and runs at the same level as K. Kellner or Hartung, that should be a pretty strong front five...
But, again, you all typically have more info than I do, esp. in terms of returning athletes, those who won't be competing (semester abroad or whatever), etc.; what do you think? Will the Yale women be a real threat again? Who else (in addition to the usual suspects)?
