So she was supposedly 11 years old when she was running back in 2007? OMG didn't they think the world would find out?

Maybe the new 800m find Jeannette Niyonsaba is a time travler and has gone back in time and ended up in the future as a 16 or 19 year old capable of running 2:02 in lane 2 and then wire to wire 1:59.12!

Talented 800m female African lies about age. Jeannette Niyonsaba not 16 years old but more like the same age as Vivian Cherioyut!

May be they share names, but we are waiting for some explanation here...

What do you have to say after plastering the link saying Jeanette Niyonsaba was 16 yrs old then a day later it's being said, "she is 19". Now there evidence that she has definitely ran more then 3 races and some over 5 years ago?

I hope this adult veteran female isn't allowed to run against the junior at the upcoming World Junior Track Championships! How did this get past so many people?

MAYBE her coach is the coach of the Chinese Ma's Army from 1991-93 when they set all kinds of world records.

A 16 year old running 2:02 in lane two the whole 800m, YEAH RIGHT! Now she's 19 instead of 16. Let me tell you what's going on:

1. The plan of her coach and agent was for Jeannette Vinyonsaba to run in the World Junior Championships were she would be expected to contend for a medal; however, after her great performance the change their minds.

2. Running 1:59.11 made her a possible Olympic medal conender so the agent immeditely put out that she was 19 as noone would believe the 16 yr novice could run 1:59.12.

3. By stating she's 19 it wouldn't be a surprise for her to skip the World Jr but they have that option with her birthdate NOW being May 1993.

What they didn't expect was someone to research the UNKNOWN name and pull up results from over FIVE YEARS AGO.

There isn't another Jeanette Niyonsaba because she is the same one from 2007 just older and alot faster!!!!!

the girl who ran 1:59.11 for 800 her name is francine niyonsaba NOT jeannette
