Manzano did it the hard way, boxed in, came around the back, in a sprinting duel early in the final lap with McNamara to hold his position, gets the win. The guy can finish.
There was a great deal of movement going on. Manzano stayed on Centro and didn't freak. The little guy ran a good race.
It was a good race by Leo. Overall it was kind of underwhelming though. No one looked too explosive off what in the Olympics will be a slow pace. I hope it is because of where the guys are in their training, etc. It would be nice to see one American make it through the rounds.
