It seemed as though a great weight was lifted from his shoulders. That was the happiest I have ever seen him. It's like a movie or a novel, when you would expect the great competitor to be at his worst, he seems relieved all the pressure is now gone, and he can now get on with his life.
And THAT is the most important point to make here. PRIORITIES Alan. Take the year off. Re-assess. BE happy most of all.
