Props! And the announcing has been good too. Thanks Peacock Network.
Lots of brainless haters here, but they've really done a good job. Props.
they've done a terrible job and only hype up BP sponsored atheletes or other corporate drones.
Yes, extra coverage is very much appreciated. That was a great decision by your producer, give that guy a raise!

What'd I tell ya. Brainless haters.
The coverage has been exceptional.
I salute them. My only gripe is an obvious one, which is that they STILL gave Lolo Jones more attention than they gave Dawn Harper. It's a little sickening.
they could have continued on nbcsc like espn does with its espn2, 3 and u. they still have completely ignored the w800.

A) Major props for keeping things going on the flagship network during prime time instead of demoting it to a lesser affiliate.
B) Women's 800 final will be televised Monday.
What, what?
She's one of the Big $torie$. It's a business not a democracy.

(1) who cares if it was on the "flagship network" at 9pm (btw, that is NOT prime time -- anyone with a life is out at 9pm on saturday night)? if nbc said we are switching it over to [pick one of their affiliates], the few 1,000 people who were watching at 9pm on a sat night would have clicked over to that channel. you are delusional if you think there were a lot of casual fans watching at 9 because they channel surfed onto nbc.
(2) the first 2 rounds of the w800 didn't get 1 second of coverage. that's a joke. they could have shown the semis today on nbcsc during some of the crew OTs they were showing when it was on live.
Dude, they pre-empted Betty White's old people prank show for track and field results to play out live. Do you know how much pull Betty White has? This is huge, and I would imagine some heads will roll.

A). 9 PM is prime time, like it or not. Since you were watching, I guess you have no life by your definition.
B). You talk about people with no life, then you whine about the prelims of tHe women's 800 not being televised. Excellent trolling, my friend, but you're busted.
(1) 9pm is NOT prime time on a saturday night. it's fluff time for the networks because most people are out and not watching tv. remind me which shows with good ratings are on at 9 on saturday nights.
(2) yes, tonight, i did not have a life (along with the few 1,000 other people who like watching t&f).
(3) um, i complained about the semis of the w800 not being shown tonight while crew was on nbcsc. synchronized diving was on last night during the prelims. even less people care about male synchronized diving than t&f. wow, you really busted me. good work. now get back to watching some prime time tv.
the two womens sprint finals were the only things they actually wanted to show and the reason today's broadcast was on NBC.
they probably wouldn't have shown the M800 semis if it wasn't for the rain delay (right?), so we should be thankful for that
A). No
B). Yes
C). No

Show how much you know. Cool people don't even head out the door until 11:00 or so.
My only complaint is that my dvr isn't smart enough to continue taping the run-over time.
Coverage of last night's 10,000 races was shockingly thorough and well done. Distance fans should be beside themselves; and realize that this is as good as it's ever gonna get.
Congrats, NBC!
I actually ran a watch on it last night. They covered over 16 minutes of the mens 10k. Not too shabby.
Unfortunately, to watch the olympic coverage on the COMPUTER, the BROADCAST NETWORK NBC requires you to have a CABLE OR SATELLITE subscription or you are BLOCKED.
Since I don't have a tv, I guess I won't be watching much of the olympics except a little of that garbage they put on their nightly show (of which they are incapable of adequately covering a distance race longer than 3 minutes) if I happen to be at the fitness center working out.
