Noticed Jake Riley is listed w/ HB for the trials. He might not be a household name but this has got to be the best guy yet to join the group. I heard they were recruiting hard but does anyone know who else has joined? Considering? Turned down? I have always wanted to see what the Hansons could do with a top notch talent.

Should be a good fit. Has done consistently well at 5k/10k and XC. Always in the mix and has improved steadily since his early years in HS.
I could see him as a future ~2:10 guy.
Looks like they've cleaned out the houses of the poor performers and really brought in some big talent. Interesting moves, hopefully the big talents won't fizzle, seems a lot different from what the Hansons usually have brought in.
Hansons do a great job with developijng athletes. This is pretty exciting to start with some better talent.

With Riley, Lowe and Spence, those might be the most accomplished college runners to ever join that group. Should be interesting to see what they can do. I'm especially interested to see how Lowe will perform, considering how well he always ran in cross country and how little he did on the track.

If they want to. Just like every athlete in the past, it has NEVER been mandatory. I worked in the stores because I wanted to. I left the program several years ago and own my own store now because of what I learned while I was in Michigan.
The recent additions are good news for them. On the men's side, the last Olympic cycle must have been a disappointment to them. What was the fastest time for any of their guys during this period? 2:13?
