I did a 1000m time trial in 2:25, what does this mean for my 1500m time? I have been focusing training mostly on the 1500m distance this season, i also have run 1:51 for 800 in a race by myself.

I'd say you're good for a 3:44-3:43
Try going 59, 1:59... try and cruise through 2:30, 3:01 and kick away with 150m to go if you can.

this, times indicate ~3:45 brah, don't over think things though just go out and race, but 59-60 quarter pace should be a solid goal
Thank guys, 3:45 is actually my goal this season. Nice to know I'm within reach. Haven't run a 1500 in over a month.
I will be running one this saturday.

Who said you are?
I guy I coach this year ran a 2:24.6 time trial and then went on to run 1:48.8 and 3:50, so it really depends on the type of runner you are.
3'45 is still long way off for you
if you ran 1'51 & 2'25 in "perfect" races & same form, etc ->
3'54.6
with some pacing ( drafting ), you may get under 3'55, but you have work to do to get near 3'45
What if 2:25 were dropped by a few seconds because it was a time trial and not a race. Can you work the V^3 magic on 2:24, 2:23, 2:22 for 1000?
As a mere hobby "runner" I did a 1000-m-trial in 4:13 (yesterday evening).
My latest speed workout (Friday, June 8, in humid conditions; 74 F, bright sunlight):
10x400 in a mean time of 1:51.9 (mean rest 1:51.7 [walking/ jogging]); last lap: 1:40.9; not totally exhausting.
Please predict my 5-k-time - the race will take place Sunday, June 17, in temperatures most probably exceeding 70 F.
(Aged 43, about 200 lbs;
best 3k - 9 years ago!! - 11:59,
1500-PB 5:35)
Where the heck did you come up with that? Maybe this guy is well known for not having aerobic strength and I'm just out of the loop, but if this guy has decent aerobic ability he should be able to run at least 3:48. Especially if he soloed the times. It's all dependent upon the type of athlete he is (and the training), but it's a rare case when somebody can solo 1:51 and 2:25 and struggle to break 3:55.
Ventolin, I'm one of your biggest fans, but you're pretty far off on this one. I ran 3:53 1500m with a 800m time of 1:55 and 1000m time trial of 2:28. This guy can definitely run 3:45 this year!!!
I know several people with 800m/1000m speed similar to yours who have run between 3:42 and 3:47. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
Whatever you do, don't put any faith in Ventolin's number.
ventolin vs bangalangadanga predictions
I ran 2:25 indoors and then went 3:45 outdoors. The 2:25 was paced while the 3:45 was solo. It's very doable. Go get it!

I like!
Be curious to see how Ventolin feels about different lines given the TT nature of OP's races.
that seems quite low actually, i know the person who is the op, he ran 3:51 over a month ago, his pr is 3:50, plus that 2:25 was a time trial, the 800 a race, i would think 3:45-8 would be feasible with the right race
I just recently ran a 2.31.0 by myself, then two weeks later ran 3:44.3.
I suck at workouts but I'm a pretty good racer.
It really depends on the individual, but you're certainly within a reasonable reach. Good luck.
Let me rephrase that:
I suck at running fast by myself, but am pretty good at running fast with competition. I'm sure I could run great workouts if I had someone with ne.
I recently ran 3:43. I had run 1:51 in a well contested race in mid April, a 600TT in 1:22.4 in the week of the race, and a windy 2:38 at altitude one week before the race. If you are a good racer, I think 3:45 should easily be within reach, and 3:43-3:42 may be a real possibility.
2:39 for me chasing some guys. Probably 4:06 for me.
