It has to be a short film (approximately 15 mins). I'm making it a sort of avant garde, art film. Here's the synopsis/brief outline I currently have working for it.
"A young man of about 20 years walks onto an empty outdoor track dressed in running clothes. He gazes at the empty facility, and a small, reflective smile spreads across his face. He begins doing a slow warm-up around the track. A narrative begins (with an older man's voice), that says "Where are you, why did you chase me. You are a smart boy, where are you?" The scene then cuts to a landscape of frozen Earth, looking reminiscent of Antarctica. Two penguins wearing Phantom of the Opera masks waddle through the snow, one looking much older than the other (could it be a father and son?). The scene then suddenly turns to an image of an old man in a baker's outfit slowly pouring molasses into a cup of raw sugar.
It cuts back to the man on the track. He stops in his tracks, and the voice is heard again, saying "Wholesome and raw, candleabra".
End.
