HORRIBLE. I wanted to punch everything.
HORRIBLE. I wanted to punch everything.
Worst camera work too.
Pretty much a debacle. At least the pacer was so petite and unobtrusive as she ground to a halt....
Please. This is Letsrun. The correct phrase is "Worst announcing in the history of running all time ever"
They're gonna have to learn the difference between Vessey and Beckwith.
You guys beat me to it.
Just freaking unbelievable how HORRIBLE this announcing team can be. No mention of Amy Weissenbach who has run 2:02 a high schooler. And barely a mention of Barringer or Vessey. What a bunch of CLOWNS these guys are at NBC!

Yes, they forgot to note she got beat by another high schooler running 2:02 today.
The official results got the two simpsons backwards too. Everyone is messed up. Jenny was really 9th in a horrible race.

I suspect the two simpsons grabbed the wrong bib number. its their own fault.
I know high school kids that could do a far better job announcing than Paul Sunderland. He has no idea who Vessey is, let alone where Jenny Simpson was in the race.
Absurd.
bwahahahahah, Ethiopians stomping the USA in the 800.
Dang Moore + Beckwith + Vessey.

So frickin true.
If it's any consolation I'll be the spotter for NBC for the running events for the Trials. I know the difference between who all of the runners are. Blame it on the spotter. They feed to info. to the guys in the booth.
Man! I am with you!! Awful commentating and filming! KNOW who is in the race. Introduce each runner with one or two sentences about each. Follow the race and comment on who, what, when and where. And let us see the race as if we are there, not just focusing on the top two or three runners. Absolutely turned off and embarrassed by our broadcasting and I am a huge Track & Field fan!

I long for the days of Larry Rawson. At least he would talk about runners - usually not the ones in the race - but at least he knew something about running.
Repeat in the mens 800. One announcer failed to notice Kaki dropped out and then seemed to confuse him with Lalang. The other announcer corrected him saying that actually Kaki dropped out and then himself somehow went on to confuse Kaki with Rudisha, saying that this is the reason Kaki is a clear favorite for gold in london, or something to that effect. Geesh.
This entire broadcast has been one big abortion.
To say that this commentating crew is a bit "rusty"... would be too kind by ANY stretch of the imagination.
Rookies.
Every single one of them, except for Dwight Stones.

Sounds like you have a little too much emotionally invested in your little television event.
