With about 150 to go I thought Goethals looked like she was dead on her feet. Shocked that she nearly won - I thought Tebo was going to drop her back to 3rd place.
Haha classic Larry. Goethals is famous for a gutsy, come-from-behind late race kick. Didn't quite work with D'Agostino (another very tough runner), but its good to see that's back! Goethals is healthy and at the top again!
She hit a brick wall at 150 to go but with 100 to go it literally looked like she stopped for a second.
Her form is painful to watch and she was looking around like a tyke lost in the mall, but damn is she didn't almost "tag The D'ag"!

True she doesn't have the greatest form but she is all guts. Love her. It seems everyone discounts her until she turns it on.
