Yes he has. Remember him beating Merga? Rupp could run a lap as fast as levins last lap in a 5k 30 seconds faster than Cam. I know everyone is on Levins schlong but he's not THAT good. Not yet.

rupp is so much better than levins. if he was afraid he couldn't close with levins the last 100m, he would take off earlier.

but this is the guy who DESTROYED ulrey the last 200 of a 16 right after running a 5k closing in 1:55.

They were running 13:50 pace until the last lap... that's not a "faster pace" for someone like Rupp.

i think the poster is saying that if rupp were there at the bell in this race, would he have been able to run the last 400m faster than levins. it is a very good question. no matter what the pace, if levins and rupp are neck and neck at 200m or 100m, who are you going to pick, with your life on the line? i'm taking levins because of his incredible speed. that said, rupp wouldn't have to be there at the bell, because he is better, and he could make the pace 13 flat, which levins might not be able to hang onto. but he's not beating levins over the last 200m, the guy just has too much raw speed and is blowing the doors off people right now, at a lower level, yes, but still, kind of the way bekele used to at the end of races (besides ones with el g in them)
