Uceny could only manage a 4th place finish today in Rome and I didn't even see a Russian in the results.
While the men's 800 was won in a 1:44, Symmonds can solo a 1:43.9(see Penn relays)

I'm confused. Is it time or place that matters when drawing grand conclusions from isolated races? You have it both ways. Please clarify.
Symmonds is in a race in Eugene this weekend that, except for Rudisha, looks a lot like the potential Olympic final. Let's wait until then to pass even preliminary judgment on him.
Exactly! Last week LR said Americans better worry because Dibaba ran 3:57. This week Uceny finishes right behind her, so we don't have to worry now :) Let's just hand out the medals before London to the top three times and the Olympics can just be for fun!
This is a stupid conclusion. Really, take a rest from analyzing. It is over your head.
This was sarcastic. Every week some foreign dudes run fast and Nick Symmonds, Galen Rupp etc. Lose their medal chances and this is based solely on times from races none of these guys are competing in.
Unceny who is a site favorite since she went to Cornell is considered a medal threat but receives no posts from the brojos about when she gets beat in a 1500m race by 5 seconds.
You tell me what's logically wrong here?
